Onyx is thrilled to welcome our new “Sharp Shooter”—Aaron Nix. Aaron joins the team as Digital Media Producer, and he’ll be putting his AV nerd skills to work as paparazzo and video editor for Onyx. As a kid in smalltown Nebraska, his favorite pastime was shooting home movies with his buddies. Aaron had planned to become a doctor, but the magic of cinema proved a greater lure. With that in mind, he moved to Tallahassee to hone his skills as a filmmaker.

A few interesting facts about Aaron:

Recently found out that he and his wife are expecting a child in February. He’s stoked to be a dad and have a rugrat crawling around the house soon.
Just graduated with his MFA from the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts (the Film School). The school’s do-it-all philosophy prepared him to wear all the hats—director, cinematographer and editor.
In the fall, his Saturdays are consumed with football, football, and more college football. He’s a Husker born and bred, so it’s only fitting.
Loves road trips. Anything under 10 hours is just a daytrip for Aaron.
Digs going to concerts. Ranks Coachella '07 among the best experiences of his life.
